Well, well. WL looks worse then I’d expected. As usual. (T.T) I think we deserve more damage, for having to put up with helmets that make our heads look like Zippy. /sigh. I’m really impressed with the WP gear, though, seems like the best looking armor out of them. Besides the WE, but, hey! Who EVER looks at the WE for ARMOR?

Dunno what to tell you other than that’s how White Lions look. They look better in-game than the Games Workshop models imo. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat50007&prodId=prod790876

Rather interesting that the WLs were origionally tanks! Seems the lore gets quite mixed up when making sequels. I, personally, think the LoTD WL armor set looks better then Sov, what with the golden armor and all, ‘specially the shoulders. I hate how there are only a few armor sets with actual lion heads on them, those being Sov, Tyrant, LoTD (Fallen explorer, Desert Storm, Sandstorm) and Sent (Maybe Darkpromise, havent seen a WL shoulder for em yet), and yet the second best armor in the game has the same old “Long lion arm over the shoulder” design. Also, the coloring is crap, that yellow doesnt look good on any class at all. Hrrm.

I think it’s mainly the fact that they should be wearing kilts… not long robes. They also seem overly slender.

I actually really like the White Lion armor set here. I especially like the gold bits in the lion hide. It give the whole thing a royal look, but in a savage way, which fits the White Lion character well.

I suspect they were saving the lion head for the very best armor, because once you add a head on to it, you don’t have anywhere to go without dressing up in a full lion suit 🙂

Love the Knight of the Burning Sun too. I wish more of the Knight armor had references to their patron goddess, as the Sov cloak does. Still, for style, the tyrant cloak for the Knight is awesome!

      Thanks for posting these!

Chosen has the best armor and the Sword Master has the best cloak (followed very closely by the Witch Hunter) imo 🙂

    Thanks gaara!

Sorry, but the Engineer backpack is clearly the best 🙂

Is there a reason why all your Elves are always female? why not have all?

Male elves are a lie. They actually reproduce via parthenogenesis.

The only reason I made a Marauder is for that helm, shoulder, and back, it just looks terrifying!

I feel really bad for all the elves, they look so plain and boring. Especially the WL…

Anyone else think the BG looks like batman with that cape? lol.

Marauder and zealot sets clearly blow my mind.

    They truely are beautifull

Wow the shadow warrior got screwed so plain looking.

Would also be great to see the male and female versions of each respective class unless all the armor is the same for both sexes.

Odd, I thought the Shadow Warrior’s was perfect. Loved the rich green cloak and the overall richness of the colors/scheme for the armor. But hey. hehe.

The color and general pattern of the armor is the same for both sexes. There are some differences, of course, but this gives the idea. If you want to see exactly how it looks on your toon, go get it! 😉

the SW gear is supposed to look like this according to the tabletop game, how else are they supposed to look?

Agreed with viedt and Gaar. This looks just as a Shadow Warrior should look. You don’t want to get too fancy with them, because that would be out of character, but they have managed to make it look rich and elegent but still staying true to the class look.

The warrior priest set is really good looking! His back are all Seals of Purity! None purer!

And the slayer? A dragon skull on his back! It really shows what he is made of, for sure, though honestly? If this slayer could slay a dragon and still survive, I wonder what could possibly kill him (much to his dismay).

But in my opinion, the best armor belongs to the zealot. Look at his mutated face! And his back piece gives him the look of a mutant bird-like thing. This whole armor screams ‘TZEENTCH’. This is what being Tzeentch is all about!

Well, as I said on numerous occasions elsewhere, the Sov armour is the ultimate proof of WAR’s supremacy over each and every MMO out there as far as art is concerned. Pity the coding is not at least half that good 😦 Thanks showing them to us Gaar.

Oh and by the way – I am fairly sure that the visuals of the Chosen Sov belt are bugged – it looks exactly like each and every T4 Chosen belt from Sentinel up. Nevertheless, if you have a good look at the NPC Chosen in IC (the merchants, not the guards), you can pretty clearly see that their belts have unique – and pretty kickass at that – looks. Hope it gets fixed soon-ish, as I am pretty close to wearing the Sov set now /gloat 😉

Note: Everyone knows, Sovereign must be dyed Chaos Black, after all, 99% of Order wearing it has. Just Saying.

Too bad Bright Wizard’s Sovereign helm and gloves are ultimate-epic-mega-uber FAIL! They are so horrible that i can’t even look at it. I am not wearing it – even if i lose Wind of Aqshy ability. No matter how powerful it is i will never put this abomination on my character. I will never do such blasphemous things like wearing Sov helm and gloves – Tyrant is sweet answer. And in fact Tyrant helm and gloves + Sovereign robe, shoes, belt, cape, jewelery and bracers are my option for BW.
