This week in WAR marks a significant milestone for my little niche of the interwebz:
500,000 views
For past milestones, I simply made a post and was done with it. For some reason though, that just doesn’t seem appropriate in this situation.
Instead, this post kicks off a week-long celebration of WAR and the WAR Community as my way to say Thank You to all of you for making this such a fun and interesting adventure.
So, this week’s posts will include Guides, Shout-Outs to other WAR Bloggers, and a Contest or two. And who knows…maybe more. 😉

A look back at WAR
So I could sit here and write out a bunch of stuff everyone already knows, but I’m not going to do that. They say a screenshot is worth a thousand words, and I’ve got about that many screenshots from WAR. lol
Don’t worry, I’m not going to put them all in here, but here’s a selection of the Oooo/Ahhhh moments and the WTF? moments. I’ll leave it up to you to figure out which is which. 😉 And at the end are a bunch of RL screenshots they call “pictures” of WAR-related moments. hehe

Half a million! Gratz Gaar that’s a big milestone and worthy of a warm glow inside, like eating ready-brek on a cold day 🙂 If you have ready-brek over your side of the atlantic, otherwise uhm excuse the colloquialism, force of habit 😛
I’m not going to pick a favourite other blog, as I can’t single one out. There’s a whole load I check every day, from Shadow-war to Mmmmm Gud, there’s too many to choose from (in a good way!). I will say though that Werit deserves an award for his weekly News from the Front service and consistently positive approach.

Grats on a cool half mil Gaar. That’s impressive and deserved.
My blog of choice is Bootae’s. He know’s what is talking about and his opinion/analysis of RvR is the best IMO, with a lot of thought and effort put into posts on a subject which is one of two beating hearts to the game, plus his guild Kill Frenzy and their vids are a reminder that’s it’s not just about serious PvP but about having a laugh too, the other beating heart of any game. And by the sounds of it he’s an old school warhammer fan like meself.
Gratz Gaar, always a pleasure reading your blog, which also happened to be an inspiration for starting my own!
I can’t pick a single blog so I won’t mention any, there are so many good ones out there. Gratz again, and a toast to many more posts and readers. 🙂

Like others have said there are many WAR bloggers I enjoy reading and it’s rather difficult to pick one. Bootae is easily in my top tier but he’s been selected a few times already and we can’t have him getting all the free lootz! HAHA
I vote for Grimnir. The past month he’s been turning over all the rocks out there finding new WAR blogs left and right. It’s because of him my blogroll is growing.

My vote goes for Werit! His Blog has been my home blog for a long time, and is always the first I check. Not only does it have his opinions and stories, it is a great place to see other WAR stuff like articles and videos.

I’d have to say the next most frequented Blog by me (after this one of course) has to be “I Heart Gorfang”. It is easily the most entertaining WAR blog out there and is probably the only reason the server still exists. I didn’t even realize we had a Gorfang server until I stumbled upon this gem. Not to mention if she decided to start putting up WAR guides, based off the Colossus encounter guide she did, you’d have a serious run for your money.
Here’s hoping for 500k more!
