Battlemarsh – The Return to Mourkain Temple Weekend Event
As part of the 1-year Anniversary celebration, Mythic has set up a series of throwback Weekend Events for the month of September.
Kicking it off is none other than Mourkain “Kill the Guy with the Thing” Temple.

Battlemarsh – Weekend Event (September 11th – 14th)
Things have degenerated in the Marshes of Madness. As both sides struggle for dominance of the crucial battlefield, unable to establish control, veterans of the battles at the ruins of Mourkain conflict return to the site to once again take up arms for the cause. The heroes of Order and the champions of Destruction have but one goal: take control of the Mourkain Temple, once and for all!
The Mourkain Temple scenario is open again, for high-level characters! Pinpoint and defeat enemies who capture the Mourkain artifact. Demoralize your foes by defeating 200 enemy players! Crush your enemies by winning the scenario with 500 points! And players who complete all five Mourkain tasks gain a new title: The Marshreaper!
Battlemarsh Task List
- Kill 200 enemy realm players in the Mourkain Temple scenario
- Take the Mourkain Artifact for your realm 10 times
- Win the Mourkain Temple Scenario with 500 points
- Complete the Mourkain Temple Scenario 20 times
- Complete all Battlemarsh Tasks (Grants the Title “Marshreaper”)
That’s it folks! Nice, short list but with some things on it that could take all weekend… Looks like I’ll be queueing it up non-stop. hehe.
If anyone discovers anything sneaky-hidden, like Achievements outside this list, let me know!

Update #1: It looks like the Achievement page lists it as “Mourkain Temple Weekend Events”. Seems we’ll be coming back here again…yay!!!
Update #2: The Achievement List. Based on Update 1, we’ll probably only fill half of this, but here it is anyway.

5 Tasks but 10 Achievments. 5 Order, 5 Destro?
Destro Win Mourkain Tempel with 500 Points is the 3rd Achievment.
We might see one be Order/Destro specific, but based on my first Update, this is coming back again with more Achievements just like Nordenwatch did.
I have finally completed all tasks today (20x Mourkain is a pain in 3 Days… – Poor Guys on imbalanced Servers…).
Destro have the same unlocks as posted here on the Page, so seems like same unlocks for Order and Destro.
Been in queue for it for 2 hours.. popped twice, once I got when Descto alrdy won.
Been qued 8 hours and only 4 pops this is a pain
I noticed major issues with queue times and reported them. I feel it was related to being in Altdorf, but I’m not sure if that was true for everyone. When I left Altdorf, I could get pops over and over, but in Altdorf, next to nothing.
Oh well I missed out I tried queing solo, in a group, nothing worked very upset that nothing was ever mentioned by mythic or they didnt extend the event, tried to talk to a csr that only took 8 hours to reach still no help.
I had the same disatisfaction this past weekend. SC just wasn’t happening.
I think this may just be showing a bug with the SC in general. I find it hard to believe that 1000 ppl on and no one is queueing.
